College football picks

After a week off, its time to pick games again. Lets get to it.

SIU (3-1) at Western Illinois (2-3)

Western loves to run the ball, which is something the Salukis are good at stopping. The Leathernecks aren’t so great at throwing the ball, Advantage: Southern

SIU, despite being the favored team, shoujld be hungry. (Southwest) Missouri State gave them a scare last week. It will be close, but Southern wins.

SIU 35-Western 31

Washington State (3-1) vs Stanford (1-2)

Washington State blew a good lead last weekend, and lost to Oregon State. That said, the oddsmakers are still favoring the Cougs by 13. What does that tell you?

WSU 45-Stanford 23

UW has a bye.

Seattle (2-2) at Saint Louis (2-2)

Battle for first place in the NFC West. I will be in attendence, and am looking forward to what should be a great game. The Rams, in their two losses have looked real bad, and didn’t look great in the two wins. Seattle easily could be three and one with two decent wins, a gritty win, and a bad loss. Translation: Seattle has looked better.

Besides, its pretty hard to beat a team five straight times.

Seattle 34-St. Louis 17

Enjoy the games,

Alan
