Obscure lyrics…FTW!
First off, I have to say it: Fire Bill Doba.
Doba’s a great guy, and he continued WSU’s success for one season. And now, not so much. His playcalling is awful, and can be summed up with two plays.
1) 10 point lead, at Cal, 5 minutes left. Its 4th down. One of the best punters in the conference is on your team. Cougs fake the kick, come up short, and Cal marches down the field to get right back into it. Cal ends up winning.
2) Tonight. Down 3, 5 minutes to go. its 4th and 1. Oregon has not shown they can stop the all-time leading rusher in WSU history. Lets kick the field goal! Tied score, and Oregon winds down the clock and wins on a last second field goal.
In other news, the Salukis quit in the 4th quarter., and now have to win next weekend to make the playoffs.
And that other team won.
So, its up to the Seahawks to make life worth living. (Too harsh? Alright…)
Its up to the Seahawks to make the weekend bearable.
And….they will.
The Rams can’t stop Shaun Alexander. They can’t stop the passing attack of the Seahawks. Want proof? Pop in the game tape from week 5.
I know the Rams have everyone back, but they had everyone last time the teams met. Everybody, from the fan on the street to Bill Simmons who is picking STL has their argument boil down to, “its the Seahawks…they’ll lose.”
Seattle lost to Washington in heart breaking fashion, then won the identical game two weeks later against Dallas. This team doesn’t collapse like previous Seahawks’ teams.
The Seahawks will win because they carved up the Saint Louis defense last time they played, and have no reason to do it again. We’re getting Bobby Engram back, making our offense more lethal than it was in week 5.
The defense has some injuries, but we can hang with them. Both of their big recievers are probably going to play, but not at 100%.
While I’m on the subject: can the national media stop slupring the Falcons and Cowboys while ignoring the Seahawks? We beat BOTH of those teams. And yet, we aren’t in the running for best team in NFC debate. Can someone explain this to me? I mean, if it has something to do with our weak division, then why did we beat those two teams?
Seahawks 36-St. Louis 20
Enough about that, its time to write some papaers.
