SIU @ Indiana

I honestly thought SIU had a shot in this game until Terry Hoeppner, Indiana’s coach, had brain surgery and will announced that he’d miss two to four weeks. Now, I’m thinking Indiana is going to use that as motivation and “win one for coach” so to speak.

That and they have a lot more scholarship players. That whole freshness thing. Oh, and their freshman QB is amazing.

Washington State vs Baylor

So, we got killed by the really good team, then killed the really bad team, and now the Cougars get the really bad team in a BCS Conference.

Baylor is also 1-1, losing to TCU and beating Northwestern State. Hope the WSU secondary is ready. The Bears average 34 yards per game on the ground…308 through the air.

Don’t let me down Doba.

Washington vs Fresno State

Isn’t Fresno State due for a win over a BCS school? This is their only chance this season, and they’ll make it count.

Seattle vs Arizona

I expect this game to be close, but not as painful to watch as the opener. The Seahawks are favored by seven points, but frankly I don’t see that happening. Arizona is better, and the Seahawks are still finding their rythym. That said, in front of the 12th Man, Seattle’s nearly unbeatable.

And one other note, there is no need to worry because we nearly lost to the Lions. Last year we DID lose to Jacksonville. I think that season ended up being alright.
