Obscure lyrics…FTW!
Semester’s winding down and I’m kind of anxious. I really want to head out on the road and get home, but at the same time want some time to get things in order here. Though I haven’t started to pack yet, I’m not worried. Basically, everything I need to put into storage is a big piece of furniture. So, it won’t take that long. Just get the smaller stuff there and it will all be good. I think a good two days of work will get the job done. We’ll see.
If thats all it really takes, then its possible I’d leave on Tuesday (wouldn’t that be great!) If I’m done and have nothing to do, I’m not going to stick around. I’m fairly certain the latest I’d leave would be Wednesday.
Having a going away party on Saturday, which I hope people can at least make an appearance at. I just want to see people one last time before leaving for eight months. Should be nice.
In other news, despite my best efforts, I couldn’t get a subleaser. Some pretty good interest, but things fell through. I really, really don’t want to pay for a room I’m not using, but I guess I have to. Bummer.
Well, I’m off to do whatever it is I do. Basketball practice today. That’ll be fun…(sarcasm). I gurantee they haven’t done a scouting report yet for Saturday’s game, meaning getting audio for the MBB preview is more or less an exercise in futility. JOY!

I guess I sort of missed what’s happening here. Let’s see if I can get this straight.
Because you’re going to Australia, you need to move all your stuff out of your apartment, because there’s a chance you won’t be living in the same place next year. But then how about the driving home? I thought you usually flew home fror x-mas break. When do you think you’ll arrive?
I’m driving home for two reasons.
1) I’m going to behome for awhile, and I’d like to be able to get around.
2) My lease at the apt runs out in May, I’m in Oz until June. And I won’t be living here next year, so yeah. Kind of have to drive back. Should be fun.
I’m thinking next Friday I’ll be home. Possibly next Thursday night…to watch the Seahawks!
