Since the DMV in Salem doesn’t do Mondays, I have enough time to do the Seattle thing. You know, go to the coffee shop and pull out the laptop.

Oh, Internet, how I missed you.

I’m getting settled into my house. Its kind of neat to come home to a home. The place isn’t huge, but it will do just fine for me. Right now I’m renting the place with an option to buy, I’ll keep you posted on how that goes.

Dad helped install cabinets, shelving, and counter space, which has helped greatly. I have some ideas for how to improve the place if I do buy it. Namely, put insulation in as it is quite lacking in that department.

Today is also day one of the new job, so I’m excited and nervous about it. It should be fun, but it will be different. Again, I’ll keep you posted.
