So, did you SEE the schedule. Oh Jesus, we signed off on that?

After 3 “home games” (one played in Seattle) the Cougs travel to USC and then to Oregon. Back to back weeks we take on what should be the Pac-10’s #1 and #2 (in some order). WSU was headed to those two stadiums anyway, but back to back weeks? I guess we can hope that USC has one of its traditional mind boggling losses at the onset of conference play or something.

But wait…it gets better!

After playing Arizona State at home, its back to the road for three straight. @ Cal (good, Notre Dame in San Antonio (?!? and yes, I knew this was on the schedule, but really, what do those two teams benefit from a mid-October trip to Texas?) and then @ Arizona (an up and coming program).

This is a fairly brutal schedule for a program thats trying to rebuild. The Cougars should be improved, but playing 5 road games in 6 weeks might not have the results show in the standings.

Well, at least we finish the season at Washington. And yes, I know…they’ll be better to.
